Foot Reflexology

What is Foot Reflexology?
Foot reflexology is a massage technique that applies pressure to specific points on the soles of the feet. These points correspond to different organs and systems in the body, making this practice a powerful way to promote overall well-being. Since the feet bear the weight of the body and connect us to the ground, working on these reflex points helps to support the body’s natural healing processes.

Benefits of Foot Reflexology
Foot reflexology offers both psychological and physiological benefits. After a session, many clients experience deep relaxation, reduced stress, and a boost in energy flow, along with a more positive and clear state of mind. Physiologically, it improves blood circulation, reduces swelling, boosts metabolism, and alleviates heaviness in the legs. This therapy is particularly beneficial for those dealing with stress, anxiety, sleep issues, digestive problems, or swelling in the legs and ankles.

What to Expect During a Session
A typical session lasts between 30 minutes to an hour. Clients lie comfortably on their backs, with only their feet and ankles exposed. The therapist applies pressure to reflex points on the feet, treating the entire body through this focused work. Before the session, clients fill out a health history form and undergo a brief assessment to ensure a personalized treatment plan. Foot reflexology is covered by some extended insurance plans.
