What is Distant Healing?
Everything is energy. Energy is literally everything. The human body is no exception; it is a continuous flow of energy, vibration, and frequency. This concept forms the foundation of all energy medicine, including Polarity Therapy. In fact, Polarity Therapy can be experienced both in person and remotely, making it accessible no matter where you are in the world. Distant healing, or remote healing, works on the same principles as an in-person session, with the practitioner and client in different locations yet achieving the same benefits.
Scientific research has shown that energy can be transmitted across both space and time. Distance energy work can complement ongoing medical treatments, support self-care practices, and serve as an excellent tool for relaxation and stress relief. However, it is important to note that energy healing should not replace conventional medical care, but instead work alongside it.
What to Expect During a Distant Polarity Therapy Session
During a distant healing session, the client is typically asked to be in a quiet space where they will not be disturbed. Sessions often take place over the phone or via online platforms like Zoom or Google Meet. The client remains fully clothed and lies down in a comfortable position, starting with a few deep breaths. From there, the practitioner guides the session, sometimes using music or sound, and other times opting for silence to help the client connect with their own energy.
The sensations experienced during a distant Polarity Therapy session vary from person to person. It depends on one's self-awareness, openness to this form of bodywork, and ability to relax. Some clients may drift into sleep, while others might struggle to stay still or focused. Regardless of how it feels in the moment, the energy work is still taking place at a deep, often unseen level.
“Energy work is priceless. It makes every day extraordinary and transforms the mundane to the holy.” ― Silvia Hartmann
